1. What tv capture card should I purchase to push out my Comcast signal ? This will be going into an old HP server (2 years old) that I have. I woud like the best image possible, and I know excellent equipment is a must.
2. What digital signage solutions (purchase or open-source) will work with the type of VLC implementation I have mentioned above ? It would be great if it could also do RSS feeds for news and weather information. Even better if it can do Twitter feeds as well. I have read up on a couple of solutions for Samsung, and HP, but I still don't have much info about them. I'm in the infacy stages of my reserach and want to hear opinions. I am open minded, but not looking to spend thousands upon thousands of dollars on the software. I rather put more money into the capture card and/or the actual LED units.
Thanks,
